Happiness of being surrounded by nature that changes its appearance with each season.

Daisetsuzan National Park, including Mt. Asahidake, is the largest national park in Japan with a total area of 23 hectares. Daisetsuzan Shirakaba-so is surrounded by the great nature of Daisetsuzan National Park.

In the morning, the trees are moist with morning dew, in the daytime you can enjoy the clear blue sky, and at night the sky is full of stars. When the weather is clear, full Mt. Asahidake can be seen from the lodge.

In spring, when the trees are budding, in summer when they are bright green, in autumn when the leaves are changing color, and in winter, when they are covered with deep snow.

Enjoy the happiness of being surrounded by nature, which changes its appearance with the passage of time and the four seasons.

Dinning hall Ⅰ

On clear days, Asahidake can be seen from the large windows. 

The menu may change depending on the season, so please inquire for details.

The dining room has a veranda which gives it a sense of freedom.

The 2nd floor lounge is accessible by stairs from the dining room.

Hot Spring

This is a hot spring with direct sourced hot-spring water.

It contains a sodium, calcium, magnesium-sulfate, and chloride spring.

It is clear and colorless. It has various effects such as relieving fatigue and beautifying the skin.

Out side Hot Spring (Summer)

This is an open air hot spring with direct sourced hot-spring water.

Out side Hot Spring (Winter)

This is an open air hot spring with direct sourced hot-spring water. (Winter)

Enjoy the open-air hot spring in the midst of heavy snowfall in the great outdoors.

Observatory

At the end of the “spiral staircase” of Shirakaba-so is an observatory.

You can enjoy the scenery in each of the four seasons.

Maintenence room

This room allows you to dry, wax and adjust your skies and snowboards on your own.

You can enter and exit directly from the outside with your skies/snowboards.

Please use this space to relax and chat.

Open until 10 pm. (We are open in conjunction with the front desk operations, so please ask when needed)

Gas canisters (EPI, Primus. (EPI, Primus, and cold weather canisters are also available during the winter).

Postcards, ice cream, snacks, instant noodles, towels, insect repellent, etc.

Landory room

There are no dryer although there are dry room.

Two rooms on the 2nd floor (capacity for 5 people each)

1 room on the 1st floor (capacity for 2 people).

These rooms have a mountain hut style. There is a toilet.

Rooms can be rented out for 8 or more people during non-specified periods (please inquire).
